The Book Thread
Re: The Book Thread
I'm waiting for the full release to grind out Oathbringer. Is anyone keeping up with the weekly chapter releases and if so how is it?

Same I don't want to spoil anything. I reread wor last winter thinking it'd still be fresh when oath came out but I was...wrong.Bshawp wrote:I'm waiting for the full release to grind out Oathbringer. Is anyone keeping up with the weekly chapter releases and if so how is it?
Re: The Book Thread
I've been reading the chapters as they come out. It is kinda killing me waiting a week for every three chapters though...
Re: The Book Thread
How integral is Edgedancer novella to the main series?
Re: The Book Thread
I didn't read it. I can't imagine it's THAT important, I'm like 20 chapters in and it hasn't come up at all as far as I can tell? Then again even though I've read both books twice now I know I'm still forgetting a ton of stuff. I should've re-re-read WoR.Bshawp wrote:How integral is Edgedancer novella to the main series?
Re: The Book Thread
It matters in the last two parts of the book. A little. The better question is whether you read Warbreaker.
That said, I enjoyed Edgedancer. And Warbreaker.
Finished the Oathbringer. I think I liked it, but I'm conflicted. Dribbly climax. Phrasing intentional.

In all seriousness, I got so little sleep this last week because I was reading it at night after I got home from the office at midnight and all weekend (David likes the voice I use for Pattern).
