The mouse thread

My nagas quite literally last 12 months. It's funny and sad.

I'm still thinking about getting the naga epic chroma mostly so that when the cord inevitably fails I have some recourse but here are how my nagas died:

1st (Blue old naga): Left mouse button broke, I blame starcraft for 4 hours a night.
2nd (blue old naga): Optics broken, stopped tracking one day and no amount of attempts to repair could fix it.
3rd (1st still under warranty): Mouse cable shorted, intermittent failures
4th (Current/2nd): Mouse cable short, intermittent failures, 3 button not registering every click.

I _love_ these mice, I just wish I wasn't buying one every year.

I am gonna buy a replacement and try to get RMA service on the current one so I have a backup but I can't find my fucking receipt and even though I'm registered with Razer I need it for service.

I don't use my mouse for many of my binds so I just have a Logitech G9.

Unfortunately, they don't make the G9 anymore and the price for a new one is ridiculous. I don't know what I'm going to do once my current pair gives out.

Similar to the Naga, the G600 is Logitech's MMO mouse. http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/produc ... ming-mouse

I've ALWAYS used logitech because they are reliable, durable, and they have excellent warranty policies. I once had a mouse for 3 years and the laser died. I called, they sent me a new one before I was even off the phone, even though the warranty was only 2 years (I think). If you like mmo mice, get this one.

That G600 looks nice, I kinda like how the buttons are broken into sets of 6 with the way they're tilted inward. I only recently got a Naga so I'm not 100% used to it yet and sometimes I'm unsure what button my thumb is resting on/clicking

If you don't use all (our any really) of the binds on your mouse like I do, the g502 is great, and is one of the only mice that I can use comfortably because tiny hands.

My Razer DeathAdder is something like 5 years old. Good hardy mouse.

I've plugged this before, but I have http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance- ... ming-mouse

Software is god-awful, but the mouse is great. I've been using it for well over a year and had no problems.

As I've said constantly before, I have used the same Razer Naga mouse for the past 4 years, and have had no issues (Knock on wood).

You have to be taking it and slamming it against a wall to go through more than 2 in a few years.
